Getting to Manchester city centre from Newhey, Rochdale is simple and convenient. The easiest option is the Bee Network Metrolink tram service from Newhey tram stop, which runs directly into central Manchester via Oldham. Trams usually run every 12 minutes, and the journey to the city centre takes around 40–50 minutes depending on your destination. Popular city centre stops include Victoria, Market Street, St Peter’s Square, and Piccadilly Gardens. You can also drive via the M62, although traffic and parking in the city centre can be busy during peak times.
